CATERING ASSISTANT (BAKERY/PASTRY)

POSITION DESCRIPTION
Position Title: CATERING ASSISTANT (Bakery/PastrySection)
Reports To: Pastry Chef / Head Chef
Supervises: None
Department: Bakery

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: The Pastry Assistant is responsible for theproduction and dishing up of pastries, cakes, and bread components inaccordance with specifications of the company and the airline customer. The Pastry assistant is responsible forassisting in all areas of the kitchen, including but not limited to hotkitchen, cold kitchen, bakery and tray set.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Specific duties include the following:
· Decorate Cakes
· Assist cooks in the production of airline meals, preparation pastries,deserts, and bread items for the airport concessions and outside catering.
· Assist the pastry chef with assembling or any other bakery preparationssteps.
· Prepare desert dishes according to menu specifications and set up samepastries. prior to dish out.
· Follow production schedule established by supervisors.
· Keep work areas clean and in accordance with safety regulations,hygiene regulations (HACCP system), and meets all local and federalregulations.
· Responsible for learning the proper use of kitchen equipment, includinguse of protective wear such as hairnets, sleeve protectors, etc.
· Assist in ordering, maintaining and controlling stock.
· Ensure hygiene standards laid down by the Company, Airlines and thelegislations are strictly followed.
· Carry out other related tasks as directed.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
Position Title: DRIVER/LOADER
Reports To: Flight Supervisor / Sr. Shift Supervisor /Assistant Operations Manager
Supervises: None
Department: Operations

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES: The Driver/Loader is responsible to provide transportation and aircraft loading services as required and directed. Coordinate with Flight Service Coordinator on the flight assembly prior to loading of aircraft food and service equipment on the trucks. Service flights are in accordance with the loading diagrams and instructions provided by the airline customers.

SPECIFIC DUTIES:
Specific duties include the following:
· Reports to Dispatcher to obtain flight arrangements, radios and vehicle keys.
· Meet flights on arrival to ensure the off-loading of all catering equipment and supplies and the replacement of all catering equipment andsupplies as specified in the airline loading diagrams including being aware ofpromotional work from airline customers such as Resort Shuttle.
· Responsible for the receipt of all flight assembly from the Flight Service Coordinator and checklist verification.
· Responsible to ensure the equipment and supplies are properly secured in the vehicle prior to departure from the flight kitchen.
· Complete the proper uplifting of meals and maintain accurate records. Ensure
Airline catering requirements and equipment-loading plans are being observed.
· Check provisioning items with the cabin crew to verify that all food provided by LSG, including airline stocks, meet the exact standards as specified by the airline customer.
· Advise FLS when additional items are requested to be provisioned, including additional trips on the aircraft.
· Return completed checklists to the Assistant Operations Manager for filing with the loading advisory.
· Reports to flight assembler to receiver sign out meal carts, equipment, etc.
· Complete the Vehicle Inspection Report form prior to departure from the flight kitchen and report all malfunctions to the Dispatcher, Department Manager, and General Manager.
· Know how to use radios properly. Speak in audible tone and do not shout.
· Verify that the Foreign Garbage Handling Procedures are strictly adhered to and enforced.
· Know how to properly open aircraft doors after properly trained. Don’t raise bridge while door is open and do not open the door from the inside.
· Return all catering equipment and supplies to the appropriate department or areas as specified.
· Wash down truck bed after unloading equipment at the flight kitchen.
· Deliver bulk items to airport or any other catering items as directed.
· Know and abide by all policies and procedures relating to vehicle operations on and off ramp, rule of driving on the road, and all safety policies.
· Maintain a clean cab section to the vehicles.
· Report all incidents no matter how minor to the Dispatcher immediately. If an aircraft arrives later than scheduled, immediately notify the Dispatcher.
· If the loading of equipment is jammed or will not fit the airline specified area, notify the FLS and the airline maintenance personnel. Also, if loading is hindered Notify FLS.
· Responsible for all loading in accordance with the airline customer specifications.
· Clean galley after loading.
· Be courteous to crewmembers.

One (1) year experience in the operation of moderate to heavy equipment (vehicle/truck ranging from 2-10 ton); or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provided the preferable knowledge, skills and abilities.

SUMMARYOF RESPONSIBLITIES: TheElectro-Mechanic Technician performs skilled involved in air-condition andrefrigeration work in the installation, maintenance and repair of the aforesaid equipment. This position is alsoresponsible to perform skilled carpentry, plumbing and electrical work in themaintenance, alteration and repair of buildings and related structures. Employees in this class perform the full range of skilled tasks under general supervision and may lead less skilledworkers on an assigned task when necessary.

SPECIFICDUTIES:
Specific duties include the following:
· Installs, maintains and repairs refrigerators, air conditioners, and water cooling systems according toblueprints and engineering specifications; determines proper placement ofstructural and functional components; drills holes and installs mountingbrackets and hangers into floor and walls of our building; lifts and alignscomponents.
· Assembles structural and functionalcomponents, such as motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring harnesses, valves,pumps, compressors, condensers, cores and pipes by screwing, bolting, riveting,welding, and brazing; cuts, threads, and connects pipe to functional componentsand water or power system; pumps specified fluid into system.
· Starts system; observes operations; readgauges and instruments; and adjusts mechanism such as valves, controls andpumps to control level of fluid pressure and temperature in system; dismantlesmalfunctioning systems and tests components; replaces or adjust defective orworn out parts to repair system.
· May install wiring to connect componentsto electric power source.
· Perform preventative maintenance on aweekly, monthly and yearly basis and maintain records.
· Plan testing procedures; determine the proper part(s) and equipment needed.
· Perform electrical and plumbing jobs.
· Routine check and maintenance of allproduction equipment, and maintain records.
· Estimates labor and material cost forwork projects.
· Reads and works directly fromblueprints, sketches and diagrams.
· Performs other related duties andresponsibilities as may be required by the mission of the company.
